How to Add a README to Your GitHub Profile

GitHub just dropped a new feature today.

You can now add a README to your GitHub profile! Think of it like an About Me section for your GitHub.

Here's how it works:

  1. Create a repo with your GitHub username (i.e. https://github.com/jeannienguyen/jeannienguyen)
  2. Create a README.md file inside the repo (you can initialize your repo with a README)
  3. Add content to your README (i.e. intro text, contact links, etc)
  4. Commit and git push your changes
