Recently, the NFTScan team officially released the ERC404 Explorer, providing simple and efficient NFT data search services for ERC404 ecosystem developers and users. ERC-404, an experimental token open-sourced by the Pandora team in early February for creators and developers, is a hybrid protocol standard combining ERC-20 (fungible tokens) and ERC-721 (non-fungible tokens, NFTs). This means that NFTs and tokens can be converted into each other, featuring native liquidity and a fragmentation protocol. This is achieved through the logic of quantity correspondence between FTs and NFTs, realized by the “minting and burning” mechanism of NFTs.

This release includes the addition of the ERC404 Tokens Explorer, encompassing ERC404 V1, DN404, and ERC404 V2 sections.

ERC404 V1, a protocol published on Github by former Coinbase software engineer Acme, has many areas for improvement. Leveraging community power, the ERC404 team is building and refining the ERC404 protocol, launching ERC404 V2 on February 15th, which significantly reduces the gas consumption of ERC404 and optimizes the mechanism for trading ERC404 tokens.

DN404, as a challenger to the established ERC404 standard, represents another implementation of ERC404, aiming to address its shortcomings. By prioritizing efficiency and security, it provides developers and users with a reliable framework for tokenization and asset management.

Moreover, by parsing real-time on-chain data and standardizing it, NFTScan has added ERC404 Token Holders and ERC404 Token Activity data to the NFT Collection interface. This helps users better understand NFT holdings and activity records, enhancing market trend insights and asset management efficiency.
