The Battle for Control of Cyberspace in Geopolitics

In recent years, I have observed how programming has gone from being just a technical skill to becoming a powerful tool on the global geopolitical stage.

Cyberspace has emerged as the new battleground, where nations compete for technological supremacy and control of information. I see how cybersecurity has become a strategic priority. Cyberattacks are no longer just attempts to steal data, but can escalate and become acts that can destabilize economies and governments.

Furthermore, the battle for dominance in 5G technology is another facet of this digital war. Chinese companies are at the center of a dispute that is not just commercial but also political.

Cryptography is another field where programming and geopolitics intersect. The ability to protect sensitive information is crucial, and the battle between those who want to keep data secure and those who seek to access it is constant.

For me, the intersection between programming and geopolitics is a dynamic and challenging field. I keep reflecting on the establishment of global standards for technology and laws that regulate the way they are implemented. What do you think of that?
